This policy explains what personal information EE MOTORS LTD. collects, why it is collected and what rights you have over it.
Who we are
EE MOTORS LTD. is an independent garage and DVSA approved MOT centre based at 5 Monks Pond St, Northampton NN1 2LF. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy.

What we collect
We only collect what we need to book your vehicle in and carry out the work.
- Your name, phone number and, if you provide one, your email address
- Vehicle details: registration, make, model and fuel type
- Notes you choose to add about the fault or the work required
- Records of the work carried out and payments taken
- Any correspondence you send us by phone, email or social media
We do not ask for or store card details on this website. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Why we use it
- To confirm, schedule and carry out your appointment
- To contact you about your vehicle, including quoting for extra work found during a job
- To keep service and MOT records, including submitting MOT results to the DVSA as legally required
- To handle payments, invoices and accounting records
- To deal with complaints, warranty questions or disputes
Our lawful bases are the performance of a contract with you, compliance with a legal obligation, and our legitimate interest in running and defending the business. Where we rely on consent, for example marketing messages, you can withdraw it at any time.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary:
- The DVSA, for MOT test records, as required by law
- Our booking and hosting providers, who store the data on our behalf
- Parts suppliers and specialist subcontractors, where a job requires it
- Our accountant, insurer or professional advisers where relevant
- Law enforcement or regulators where we are legally required to do so
Some providers may process data outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
Booking and job records are kept for as long as needed to service your vehicle and meet our legal, accounting and warranty obligations, generally six years for financial records. After that, information is deleted or anonymised.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Ask us to delete information where there is no ongoing reason to keep it
- Object to or ask us to restrict certain processing
- Ask for your information in a portable format
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

This site is served over HTTPS. Booking data is held in access-controlled systems, and only people who need it to do the job can see it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.
